This heritage festival for young people
will be filled with a variety of fun programmes/workshops where children will get
a chance to experience traditional cooking, silkscreen printing with
traditional motifs, traditional craft traditional game playing, and interactive
heritage treasure hunt and entertaining street performances.
The festival will also showcase entertaining street
performances Penang youth.
This is the ONE festival where you

“欢闹古迹嘉年华”是专为儿童及青少年而举办的活动，让他们透过活泼有趣且创意十足的活动，包括学习制作传统美食、手工艺、丝印T-恤、自制玩具，以及传统趣味游戏、古迹寻宝、青少年街头表演和创意艺术教育展等，体验、认识和学习不同族群的文化遗产。
这是一场趣味与知性兼具的嘉年华，势必让青少年亲身体验到乔治市与众不同的文化风貌！
关于“欢闹古迹嘉年华”
“欢闹古迹嘉年华”是配合2012 年7月7 日 乔治市入遗4周年庆典而举办的青少年文化古迹庆典。这是槟城艺术教育组织自2001 年以来第4次主办类似的活动。
在这一整天的庆典里，受邀主持活动的艺术家、手工艺师傅、传统小食师傅等将透过互动教学的方式，让儿童与青少年学习本地不同族群的传统文化与技艺，并运用这些知识与技艺创造出具创意的作品。 届时，槟州各地学校的学生也将透过各种表演，展现他们的才艺。
我们希望能吸引1千名8至18岁的各族群儿童和青少年及他们的家长前来参与其盛。
